that's right. be afraid....bitches.
ANHOW. this is basically going to be another summary of how SUPERAWESOMEAMAZINGFANTASMICORGASMIC london october expo was (bearing in mind this was my first october expo - my first ever expo was in may)
I FINALLY met the Power Rangers. Basically ever since i found out about events like expo ive ALWAYS wanted to meet the power rangers, there weren't any in may. but i did meet those ghostbusters (who inspired my teams cosplay for this october) and it was AMAZING for me. Oh and i've decided to cosplay as Black Rose/ Rena from Hack.// - [link]

If you have any ideas on how i could make the outfit and if you have an opinion on it, or even if you have any other ideas i could cosplay as - then please do say! :heart:

Ok, the low-down in comparison to May Expo.
Now that i was prepared for what i was about to digest this expo, i took into consideration all the things i had noted after may. I'm just going to copy and paste the list from my previous journal and then in bold will be the comments in the now :D


- DONT EVER think you are overdressed XD i saw people in fucking bikinis who werent even cosplaying!!!!
a) sorry for my bad language b)this time we went cosplaying as ghostbusters, it was amazing and bazillions of people took pictures of us - including the official ghostbusters website> [link] XD yeah i'm the dark one...Oh and also, people on the underground did not run around in fear screaming "AMG ITS A BOMB" they were actually v. pleasant and felt the need to immediately stare/talk to us

- OVER at an expo is always better than UNDER
thanks to our outfits - we got lots of photos, lots of good memories, lots of hugs and interviewed by some random japanese tv station :D was awesome

- when you see the queue for tickets you will feel TERROR but trust me - was PROBABLY one of the best bits of the expo. Unfortunately, (i'm posting blame) Steinberg kept flaffing us around on trains and we were late on the saturday. The queue wasnt really that fun this time because it was around 2pm and most of the people in the queue were older and sane. but i did get some hugs from some cool guys and i saw hellboy and stuff. OHHH but we DID see the emo-hair dude that we took a pic with from may that worked there XD... OOH but the sunday was alot better cause we got there MEGA-early.

- POINTERS: bring an a3 sketch pad and marker pen, make some funny signs and get the people going. get some hugs from strangers. Mine said: "SCREAM IF YOU LOVE THIS PLACE! (PLUS FREE HUG)" and my friend josh's said "FREE SEX HUGS" -
OOH, i was so epically prepared this expo, i made the signs before hand. you can see alot of them on my facebook albums, but basically here's the list of them:
- a cake in a think-bubble for photobombing purposes
- a lightbulb for photobombing purposes
- my narutard sense is tingling... (the naruto cosplayers did not find this amusing)
- HUG ME TENDER
- SCREAM "MEGACAKE" TO RECIEVE A glompSPANKING
- Pocky in their pants ---> for photobombing purposes. we had more but i dont remember them..

- if you want to advertise your art, DONT bring your sketchpad, bring small leaflets with small sample pics from your gallery and give links, email adresses etc. and hand them out!
I DID THIS I DID THIS I DID THIS GOOD. i gave out a totaly of 160 flyers, and i RAN OUT. I NEED MORE. can you BELIEVE that. OMG, ask ~Songeln i almost CRIED because i had no flyers to give the most beautiful boy i'd ever met... i literally threw a hissy fit. i got a picture with him though. ... .. how great is that... i love it.

- if you say you're going to meet ppl there the likeliness is that you wont XD i was meant to meet TWO people there, and didnt meet either, she kept texting me but we kept moving around! life's a bitch, so keep it simple!
FUCK THIS ADVICE, i met ~Songeln and managed to embarass her and her boyfriend in front of a crowd of people sitting on beanbags :D i yelled penis and made loads of sex jokes about how her boyfriend wouldnt bone her even though they stayed in a hotel together over the weekend. (though she probably doesnt want this posted on the internet)

- be WARNED - stuff IS expensive, but try as best as u can to ask yourself if its worth it and ask yourself when you will ever get another chance to buy this stuff! (i bought FIVE posters and they were ALL worth it) (i also bought a cat hat for 12 pounds and i dont think it was worth it but lets be honest - ill never get another one. plus this way i can figure out how to make my own) -
Never did figure out how to make my own... ANYWAY, yeah, posters werent so great this time but owell, bought loadsa pocky again, and one of those small lolita-pimphats that you can clip to your head. its awesome. ill take pictures sometime. annd i bought keyrings, a pocky pencilcase, some prints and stuff. Oh, and megan bought kitty ears for 12 quid but then she said they looked better on me and i said that my hat from may looks better on hair and so we've decided to make a trade. YAY.

- DONT be afraid to ask ppl for pictures. i did it quite a bit there, a lot of the time i was really frightened XD especially when cloud almost hit me with his sword when he turned around - but REALLY people are SO nice)
oh god, i remember that... i stalked him and yuffie for about 10 minutes XD WELL , didnt the tables TURN this expo. so many ppl asked for pics with my team of ghostbusters. I did not hesitate one bit - at one point i actually buttraped a snorlax because i completely glomped his ass off.

- HUG EVERYONE YOU POSSIBLY CAN - done done done DONE.

i was dressed as a character from the comic novel im writing atm, but..... he's baed on me so i was dressed as myself so it doesnt really count lol i met you in the line and had the green T-shirt on with long gay hair and a black hat with like red and yellow stripes on it lol :) :heart:
